Local R&B singer Arielle Jones is going nationwide this week with the release of her debut album, “Expressions of Arielle Jones.”

The album features Jones’ soulful voice, and includes eight original songs.

Inspired by artists like Stacie Oricco and Rachel Lampa, a wide range of musical influence is reflected in her music.

Jones is a graduate of Dillard High School, and has trained classically since the age of 13.

The Ocala resident originally had her sights set on the medical field, but her early journey into music and vocal training changed her direction.

“I don’t think I’ll ever stop singing,” Jones said.

Jones first considered a professional music career at age 12, when she wrote “I Don’t Really Know,” one of the tracks on the new album.

“Expressions of Arielle Jones” is available on iTunes or Tate Music Group.
